​인간의 미에 대한 욕망은 잔혹한 화장품 동물실험들을 낳았습니다. 토끼를 고정 틀에 가둔 채 약물을 투여하여 안구와 피부자극을 테스트 하는 실험은 토끼를 결국 사망에 이르게 합니다. 2011년 오송으로 옮겨진 후 폐쇄되어 있던 구 질병관리본부 내 동물실험동에서 아트제안의 작가들이 동물실험에 반대하는 전시를 올렸습니다. 저는 토끼실험실로 쓰이던 곳에서 오브제설치와 퍼포먼스를 진행했습니다. 

죽음과 손상의 공간이던 동물실험실은 "연극무대 같은 방(Stage-like room)으로 변화되고, 인간과 동물의 진실한 대면을 통해 이루어지는 치유와 회복의 스토리가 펼쳐집니다. 

화장품 안전테스트로 희생되어간 토끼와 화장중독이 된 여인이 만나 서로의 얼굴을 대면합니다. 토끼는 여인의 얼굴에 가면처럼 덮여있는 짙은 화장을 닦아줍니다. 여인은 토끼의 상처난 눈에서 흐르는 눈물을 닦아줍니다.

The human desire for beauty resulted in brutal cosmetic animal experiments. Testing eye and skin irritation by placing rabbits in a fixed frame and injecting medication results in their death. Art Ze-An held an exhibition against animal testing in the animal lab inside the old Center for Disease Control and Prevention, which was closed down after moving to Osong in 2011. I did objet installation and performance in rabbit lab.

Animal laboratories, which used to be spaces of death and damage is transformed into a stage-like room, and the story of healing and restoration that take place through the truthful encounter of humanity and animals is unfolded.

Rabbit who died of a cosmetic safety test and the woman who became a cosmetic addict met and face to face. Rabbits wash the face of women's heavy makeup, which is covered like a mask. The woman wipes the tears from the wounded eyes of the rabbit.
